Job Description Product Planning & Development
- Research and provide new product ideas
- Keep up with new technologies and study new products
- Provide PDG (Product Development Guideline) for vendors
- User interface guideline (summarized)
- BOM guideline
- Provide UIG (User Interface Guideline) for vendor
- Provide the most user-friendly and intuitive UI
- Keep track of features / specifications and support overall development process
- Manual, package, sales sheet, website, catalog, and special / promotional documents review and proofread
- Create new model#, UPC#, and UCC#
Product Evaluation and Improvement (before shipment)
- Evaluate OEM products
- Thoroughly test and write evaluation report
- Find pros and cons / Find issues to improve and etc
Product Improvement (after shipment)
- Find overall issues or problems and provide solutions
- Keep track of product version history
- Help sales and marketing with technical issues
Customer Service
Job Requirement - Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3-4 years+ in the consumer electronics field or related fields.
- Thorough understanding of Consumer Electronic technologies and familiarity with market trends, software and firmware design and development practices.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of general engineering practices.
