Job Description 1. Monitor and Predict Key Competitor Activities
- Identify keycompetitor product launches and activities in Korea, assessing the areaswhere they will impact.
- Collateinformation and intelligence on key competitors from a variety of sources,including multiple syndicated data suppliers.
- Work with theGlobal team to determine prioritisation of key competitor product launchesor other key competitor actions.
2. Keep teams informed of relevant competitor information
- Create anddistribute approved competitor related communications for the briefing,training, awareness building of local teams.
- Lead trainingsessions on competitor topics.
- Providetimely support to market field teams encountering new competitor in-storemessaging, questions from retail staff.
3. Be the local contact point on competitor testing and standards.
- Prioritiseand organise internal testing of the key competitor products including:purchase of the identified competitor machines and management of testingwith the relevant teams.
4. Support special research projects
- Manageinformation gathering for special competitor projects
Facilitategood project management as it relates to the key aspects; communication,understanding, timing, and cost
Job Requirement - Bachelor’sDegree required, preferably in engineering, sciences, marketing, business,statistics, or other technical fields.
- 3+ years incompetitive intelligence, market analysis, laboratory testing, otherfields of research. People management experience an advantage.
- Projectmanagement skills; this person must be able to plan, deliver and evaluate projectsindividually and with others.
- Influencingskills; this person will have the ability to engage people crossfunctionally and to influence up, down and across the business.
- Advancedexperience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Stronganalytical ability with the ability to make connections, and performcritical review.
- Strongcommunication skills; this person is able to present information (bothwritten and oral) clearly and concisely. This person needs to be able tolisten and to communicate clearly at all levels within an organization.
- Must beadaptable to a fast paced and changing department and willing to helpimprove its function.
- Ability totravel occasionally is essential.
